    Are they still available new?
I maybe fancy one, but apparently they are no longer so.
They are ST3, with an air cooled motor now?
Whats that all about then? I would prefer the 996 l/c motor meself.
    Anyone?

Dunno but an ST4 used is pretty good value as they depreciate some,
appealing to a very narrow sector. I really wouldn't buy a new one
because of that. I've looked seriously at them last year and liked it a
    lot.

  3. I've just tried looking for an ST4S or even an ST4, and the answer is
no, they're all gone. Aylesbury Ducati is still running their ad for
one, but they've sold them all.

    Bugger.

ST3 is a bit crude, by all accounts. ST3 ABS gets much btter suspension
in adition to the ABS and is worth the extra, but like you, I was
tempted by the very low prices people were using to clear stocks of the
    ST4S.

    Looks like they succeeded :-(

Thats a shame, my mate has a ST4 and loves it, gonna get a play on it
soon, if I like it I will want to get one, somehow.
As much as I like VFR's, the vtec was a mistake. :-/

If only they'd built it on a Golf floorpan.

Heh, I had an FJ (1989) and a FR (1994)
    I always prefered the FJ.
Mind ,to give it it's due the vtec is a lovely handling bike, best of
    the lot, IMO.
    Shame the motor's shite.

  9. There's a private ad on the MCN website, placed 30 May:
    "2005 DUCATI ST4 S 2005/05, 650m, £6000, immaculate red with luggage
panniers, selling due to relocation moving to Portugal, very low mileage,
alarmed and garaged, well cared for, Hemel Hempstead ".

650 miles, so nearly new. Any good to you?

    Martin.
