Mate, if you're up for a spin, let's do it. Send me an email and we'll go
for a coffee if you have the time. Probably around 9 or 10 at Berowra

Hehe - at least you're getting something out of my lament!

Lament! Did someone say "lament"??? Noooo - the 'bird is perfect.
    Actually - almost too perfect.

Poor little thing - I'll have to really give it some loving attention
tomorrow. At least she no longer has any "chicken strips"! Couldn't do
that on the Duc - I wore holes through both pipes trying though! :)

Cool. I'll be there squire. Don't expect 200+ all the way - I'm not really
up for peg scraping on the Old Road!

    Cheers,
    Dave
P.S. if you have a prob, just send me an email. If for some reason I can't
make it, you may want to email me a contact number. I'll call at 9 should
there be a prob if that's cool.

young bloke locally whom I knew for a nodding hello in passing has been
riding a blade , ok I guess , few weeks ago he showed up beside me at the
lights on a 998 ?. Duc , polished , RED and fecking loud , made the vans
side shudder in time , nothing was going to wipe the smile from his face as
he feathered the clutch and moved off VERY quickly , took me a couple of
seconds to stop wanting that bike ( no knobby not the rider) NOTHING
"SOUNDS" like a big vtwin in full song :_)
just do what you know is right ...

....and for good reason. Ever seen the build *quality* on the current lot??
A mate bought a new Daytona a few months ago and wrote to Triumph in disgust
after seeing the build quality on the XX. I'm sure the Trumpies are a great
bike (and look good) but as Andrew put it, not built up to a standard -
    questions it's lifespan.

    *ducks for cover...*
