DT175MX technical data

  1. o Standard jet-needle clip setting.

    Having filled up with clean unleaded (£5.32) I started looking at the
    idle setting again. The idle screw is fully in! I'm wondering what this
    is compensating for, and having a bet with myself what position I'll
    find the needle in when I look.

    It still hangs up at 3-4000 rpm and I can't get much response from
    the idle mixture screw (probably wouldn't expect it at those revs). I'm
    not certain there is no air leak, wiggling the carb around induces the
    revs to drop. First priority is probably to get a proper foam filter
    to replace the cheesecloth bodge.
