Last time I consciously made that decision, I crashed.

    Now I always wash it.

I had the same dilemma this afternoon. I chose "ride it". It was much
better with more air in the tyres, but the back end still feels slidey.
I'll have to check the pressures again.

I also met a chap called Simon who had a new-ish black 955i when I was
filling up, so if you're reading now "hello Simon".

Hmm, I had to go to work....

So I though **** it, and took the bike, thus combining business and
    pleasure.

    BTW, bikes rock.

I sold mine today. Delivered it to the new owner in deepest darkest
Wiltshire. Had a lovely 130 mile down in pouring rain foir some of the
    trip and still think......

Hehe, well, I had a good blast out on my own to the Sun Inn (about 20 miles
the longer twistier route) and thoroughly enjoyed myself <VBG>

I may wash it tomorrow....unless the weather holds out of course.

I'd spent about 4 hours cleaning my 9R so the new owner could see it in
all it's immaculate glory. When I found out they couldn't collect I
offered to ride it down to Wiltshire for them. I set off in really nice
sunny weather wearing one-piece leathers and no waterproofs. By the
time I got to Swindon it was raining hard and I was starting to get a
bit damp. I stopped for fuel and the bike looked like it hadn't been
cleaned in years. All that time and effort gone to waste.

Still had a stonking last ride on it though.

I had much fun with a BMW X5 who fancied himself at the lights today [1].

I wrung the poor old Zeph's fucking neck, and when I looked in my mirrors he
    was nowhere to be seen.

    What fun....

    He turned left, HTH.

Were you coming down the A420 into Bicester from Oxford today at about
16-45, turned left towards Middleton Stoney when you got to the tyre
    depot?

    They do.

I've just been to Asda for "Woodland Bark" for madam's flowerbeds.

I think so, not sure about the road numbers quoted though.

I came up the A41 from the M40, went straight on at the Esso, straight on at
Tesco, then left onto the Middleton Stoney Rd (before Kwik Fit). Your
timing would have been about right, dive or take 10 mins.

    Were you about then?

    Excellent.

Reminds me of when I bought a shed from our local Texas, and brought it home
in / on SWMBO's old Passat Estate [1].

[1] It was an ex display shed, so I had to dismantle it in their gardening
department. The Apex roof detached in one piece and was bungeed to the roof
    of the car.

We were following in a Fiat Seicento rally car. I thought it was you by
the jacket and helmet but we couldn't get close enough to be sure. We
spotted you at the M40 roundabout and watched you do the dual
carriageway into Bicester, you've quickened up a touch. Not quick
enough that you could lose a fucked old 1100cc Fiat with half a ton of
roll cage and two people in it though :)
