    DR says...
One wouldn't assume so. I think it may well have been kicking around in
George's ownership for quite some time.

Sadly, as the only contract killer around here is Ginge, my best hope
of Platy's early demise is that absurd three-wheeled contraption he's
    bought.

I'm thinking there must be a finite chance of a blockage since it's probably
pretty indigestible, but you're probably right.

Terry may blather on as much as anyone else of a morning, but at least it's
    amusing.

Indeed you should. -12 on the way in this morning.
I've tried, but so far failed. Seems the Leclerc I'm _sure_ I saw some
in a few weeks back doesn't have it - I'll try again this weekend
elsewhere. Failing that you're over again the following week, aren't
    you?

yep, sunday to Wednesday next week, Tuesday to Friday the week after.

The flaw here, maybe, is that you're expecting the scrotes to be capable

Oh yuss ... that was one of the things I was impressed with when I dated
an American. Service seemed far better there (to the point of intrusion
    at times).

Plus when dealing with any company here her opening phrase was always to
ask who it was she was talking to, people seem to be more more helpful
when they feel accountable perhaps? She always seemed to get things
resolved quicker that us Brits ;o)

  14. Oh dear, you'll be wanting me shot then? since I always take a pint of
tea with me if I drive a car to work, I often snack & drive and horror
of horrors use a handheld mobile sometimes.

    Lucky for you then.

On a separate note your vitriolic response to my rather tedious post
shows up in google groups but not in my newsreader and conversely Boots
Blakely has responded and shows up in my newsreader version but not in
google groups. What's that all about?

OK, did anyone else listen to that the whole way through, in the hope
