drive shaft--engine sepration

    Replaceing water pump on 95vt1100c2 shadow ace. Going by the book, but
    cant get drive shaft--engine apart. Damn book dont tell much on this! If
    anyone knows how PLEASE tell me. Everything loose but that. Need about
    inch over 2 right for clearance for new pump
