Heh, I vaguely remember when the CBX came out - legendary stuff.

I went to "Cassington Bike Night" last year with a mate who is about 10
years younger than me, I spotted a CBX, and a Morini 3 1/2 and started to
wax lyrical. He had no idea: a) what bikes they were - "never heard of
them", or b) what the attraction was. Made me feel bloody old.

That's a bit similar to mine:
    Suzuki 1000 Katana
    Laverda Jota
Benelli 750 Sei (but only if I can have the 6 into 6...)
    BSA Rocket 3 (1971 ish)
    KH400

    Magni MV Agusta 850/900
    Egli Vincent
    Krauser-BMW MKM1000
Gilera Saturno 500 (the '50s one, not the later 80s/90s one)
    Laverda Montjuic

Hmm. Two or three of them appear to be halfway affordable, even

Dr Ivan D. Reid was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
I have a lightened GT380 for sale if you're interested. Fairly cheap
    as well...

No, not given up. However I just know that I won't have the time to
restore it in the coming months to the level I want it to be at, plus
I'd have to have a lot of parts like rearsets made up for it, and even
    I am not that daft.

It's a nice bike, I really enjoy riding it but the way it looks atm
it'll just turn into another mad adventure I can do without at the
    moment.

    In order of 'progression'

Yamaha FS1-E DX in Yellow, 1977
    Kawasaki KH250, 1976
    Suzuki GT500, 1975
    Triumph Trident T160, probably a '74
    Kawasaki Z900, '74/'75 I think

  12. They'd be on my list.

I don't really covet SOBs enough to want 5 of them though...

  13. Vincent Black Lightning (ok, technically a race bike, but nothing a
number plate and a couple of lights won't fix :)
    Triton
    RD350 YPVS (check)
    Scott Flying Squirrel
Morgan 3-wheeler (JAP engine, none of this Matchless shite)

Hmm, can't really class all those as SOBs

This is no time to be giggling in the corner, boy! The monotreme has
    omitted the Dexion, FFS!

Or is that the custom bit?
