Drag racing at London City Airport - proceeds to charity.

    Shameless advert, but in a good cause. If you ever fancied racing you bike for fun then read

    London City Airport, Sprint Grand Prix
    July 24th London City Airport, Docklands.
    The first competitive motorcycle event in London since Crystal Palace sees legendary racer John
    Hobbs and the Hobbit compete alongside current drag race champions including Graham Dance at this
    amazing venue. Over 150 machine will take part ranging from the super quick 1/4 mile specialist to
    classic racers and turbo road machines.
    The 2 lane 1/4 miles course is on the main runway on the docklands airport, proceeds for the event
    go to the Lewis Jacobs Trust for Autistic Kids. Gates open at 12.30pm racing starts at 1pm through
    'till 7pm. Admission is only £5 for adults £1 for kids, free parking for cars and bikes. Race
