  3. They're crap.

They don't go as fast as a Hayabusa, they lack the patch club cred of a
FatBoy, they don't have the race bred heritage of an '04 Fireblade,
they don't handle as well as an RS250, they don't have as much luggage
space as a Goldwing, they use more fuel than a Vespa, you can't get
super sticky tyres that fit their odd sized rims, they don't handle in
the dirt as well as a WR450, and worst of all, you'll get laughed out of
the latte queue at the cafe on one of them...

How much did you say it was going for? Got the guys number?

    ;-)

  7. Finally.. a question I can answer!

I just sold mine, after a year-long love affair. There are no major problems
with them as far as I am aware, but you need to work out what exactly you
want one for. Far too big and heavy to be a trail bike, but with
road-orientated tyres they are a pleasure to ride on the black stuff with
the occasional foray up the odd fire trail. Great range (500+ Kms) per tank
(29L), good suspension and brakes (except for the rear drum on the '88
model, try and get a disc rear end model).

Comfortable as a tourer and has plenty of nip around town.
