I'm working my way through a selection of Marstons finest,
with a bottle of Tudor Rose on the side.

    Wish me luck.

Or "my wife/Girlfriend" or (in my case) "Fiona". She's not involved,
you're not invoking her personally, it's just a reference point.

Anything else is all a bit "Colin Hunt" [1].

[1] I thank Cane for giving me a well known character to focus on.

Quite possibly, the name's ringing a bell, but I can't recall either her
    face or jugs.

  16. Can we just hang on for a bit?

In my tidying up of the garage preparing for potential moving later
this year I've found a clutch pressure plate and friction plate (used -
heavily) and pair of lever type shocks (may need slight rebuilding from
scratch) for a J4 - can I at least try to sell them before you end the
    Sweller dynasty?

Hehhee. It was, um, fun. Some classics - "They have North on other
planets." It was quintessentially Dr who in so many ways, yet
    different.

Matt got to stay up to watch it. He was a little scared...
He had to go to bed with a light on.
Ooops. Scarred for life.... }:8) I guess he's only 4. But he enjoyed
    it.[/QUOTE]

Oh bless him, my 6 year old nephew is staying with us and he loved it. As
you say, there were definitely some old style Dr Who moments but I must
admit, I liked it (nothing whatsoever to do with the new Dr.....)

  19. Oh I dunno - Swindon seems to specialise in the "almost pretty but a
little bit chubby". Most that come higher in the classification than
    that seem to be imports..

Mind you there are even more whose only association with the word
pretty is in the phrase "well - their mothers think they are pretty".
