Rather good - and Miss Piper makes fair eye candy.

Very nicely done, lets just hope the rest of the series is as good.

You can keep Billy, she's got a squarer jaw than David Coulthard ffs!

  5. I like the way the hanging lights didn't move considering the force of the
    explosions.

I liked Bill Hartnell, but I think that Pat brought a lot more energy to
    character.

It's said that a persons age can be guaged by the Doctor that they
    like the best.

Tom Baker is *the* Doctor for me

It was fucking rubbish forty years ago: I can't imagine it's got any
    better with time.

    Aye - and aye.

Noted the credit to porl, too - but didn't see any rabbits.

Hehhee. It was, um, fun. Some classics - "They have North on other
planets." It was quintessentially Dr who in so many ways, yet
    different.

Matt got to stay up to watch it. He was a little scared...
He had to go to bed with a light on.
Ooops. Scarred for life.... }:8) I guess he's only 4. But he enjoyed
    it.

I have this very vague idea that Troughton was the *second* doctor I
saw but the memory aint what it was.

    Foto man says...
I think it will appeal to a new generation of Dr Who fans, me being one
of them because I hated it the first time around.

Porl's contribution didn't go unnoticed either. I am told he managed to
get on the credits, but I switched over before then. Nice one shorty.

  14. I was hoping they were going to blow up the London Eye, or send it
bowling down the Lambeth Road or something.

  17. It wouldn't be Dr Who if the special effects got it right.

I thought it completely sucked to be honest. Terrible acting (the doctor
was ok-ish) and apparently an effects budget smaller than the original
    series.

    Certainly not.

I've never had a moment's interest for it, and I'm not about to start
    now.

No doubt it is beloved by the same sort of folk who the "Star Wars"
    was a good film.
