As I haven't seen any reports about it on t'internet yet, I'll report here. ... What a Saturday night! 8,000 airhorn-blowing fans packed into Sheffield Arena to see Dougie win his Sheffield crown back (which was temporarily on loan for a year). It's just a pity the two twats sat behind us managed to blow the horns directly into our ears. Still, I waited for one of 'em to nip out before I lamped the other one. It's the only way to teach these 5 year olds. ;) Around an impossible course (two sections failed by _all_ riders), a superb ding-dong, point for point battle between Dougie Lampkin and Adam Raga - until Dougie alone cleared section 5 with only one dab and held his 5 point lead to the end. Good effort from the World Junior Champ too. In with the big boys for the first time he certainly didn't disgrace himself - despite failing most sections. He'll be back. Yesireee, a great night, the right result and *utterly* fucking brilliant bike control. I think I'll try to park my 750 on *top* of the garage tonight. Anyone got a foot-long ramp I can borrow? ;)
