My voting station is 65 miles away.

Will you mind if I do it later?

65 miles on a sunny day, sounds like a good excuse to go for a ride to me.

My bike is 64.8 miles away.

200 yard ride seems a bit pointless IYAM.

Its the anti job security ones I'm more concerned about [1].

In my case interoperability which basically means train drivers licences
to the lowest common denominator. A kind of flags of convenience for
    railways.

    Not so good.

[1] Ages ago Burnt asked why I was demonstrating in Paris with other
rail workers (apart from the mayhem, alcohol and obvious attraction of
explosives in crowded places). That's why. Legislation was slightly
improved from my POV but not enough.

That's really one of the least of my worries come election time.

    If only I was in a sub-culture.

_ X . G bored us all completely to death with wittery prose along the
    lines of:
I wondered what this was all about.

It's Sunday voting for us in France.

Since when was 0.2 miles 200 yards? Or were you going to park up
    part-way and walk the rest?

  16. I've just walked round the corner and done it. Three lots of votes for
    us lucky people in London.

  20. you are on the electoral roll?

then you should have had a polling card to advise which polling station
to go to. It's not essential though - you can turn up, say who you are
and then you get your voting papers.

if postal vote ONLY area then I think you are too late as you should
have had the postal voting papers about a week ago. If you're still
living somewhere west of London then you aren't in the trial area.
