    I saw this yesterday and I reckon that there's no way it was a
    'backfiring nail gun' as claimed. For the nail to be embedded in his
    skull in the way the X-ray shows, he would have to have had his jaw
    hanging open at a ridiculous angle. I think it's far more likely that
    he was just messing around.

    He's one lucky guy though[1].

    [1] for values of luck involving having a nail embedded in your head.
