    Anyone else going then?

Last chance to see the 250s in action. Last GP at Donington. Get yer
    rose-tinted specs here, plenty cheapness.

Taylor Mackenzie, Niall Mackenzie's son was practicing at Donington on
his 125 today. Showing a clean pair of heels to just about everyone
    on litre bikes.

Sadly I won't be going to the GP, too expensive for me.

I'd love to, but need to check my diary - I think I might be double
    booked.

    I reckon.
I must try not to let my head sunburn and blister this year.

By tomorrow the forecast will probably have changed to sunny. I'm not
sure they have much of a clue at the moment, what with it being so
    changeable.

If yesterday is anything to go by there will be some of everything.

I'll have something waterproof with me either way. If only the
    start/finish grandstand had a roof!

FFS - it's a right pisser when you're trying to plan your weekend. I don't
mind a bit of rain, but if it's tanking it down like it is now, (heavy rain,
thunder and lightening in London), there's no way I'm going to stand about in
it. In fact if it's like this on Sunday afternoon, I wonder if the race will
    even happen.

That's a nice little storm heading W-E at the moment. It hit
Bracknell, Maidenhead missed the worst of it[1] and it's now made it
over as far as you. I don't think it will last that long but I heard
    it was pretty heavy!

[1] I could see ot over towards Windsor and although it went quite dark
here, it's only just started raining slightly.

  11. That was the problem at Mallory last weekend. First race ended at lap 22
when the top 6 were skittled, then the second race at lap 14 due to the
rain and standing water. Didn't even get a %age of the entrance money
    back. Boo chiz.

  12. Hail, thunder and lightning this morning, glorious sunshine this
    afternoon.

Local forecast for Sunday is pretty dreadful.

I'm getting flashbacks to this time last week.

"I'm not going, the weather's going to be awful"

At least this time I'm staying in a hotel, not camping, and I'll have a
nice dry car to sit in should the worst happen.
