It'll be strange to Dyson the carpet and not have the clear cylinder
fill up with fur. Having said that I think the few rooms downstairs
that still have carpet will be 'giving fur' for years to come.

My advice. Have a good cry, mourn her loss and in a few weeks go out and
buy a puppy. When that puppy's about 8 buy another. Repeat.

Hmm. On rare occasion I still find stray dog hairs from a dog we lost
years ago. Causes me to smile these days really.

Of course, Champ's seen the squallid mess I live in so can understand
    why.

I started dating the vet who put my cat down - she was Peruvian, the
    vet, not the cat.

Nah, no more pets until the business is sold, which might be sooner
    than you think.

She had none that I could see, but going by her long thick black hair
I'd say they'd have been the same.

  11. Eh?

Is that why you're so stressed out at the moment?

  12. I picture them with the full Hunt following them, mounted on Shetland
    ponies.

Buy a Weimeraner from good working stock, and work it at your local
shoot. You'll be surprised just how bright they can be in the right hands.

Its the guinea pigs bred as war-dogs that I paticularly like...

Spikey armour srapped to thier backs, the fearsome guinea pig war-dogs
were released to charge a terrified enemy... Rank after rank of enemy
warriors dropped thier weapons before the guinea pigs, turned and fled
the field of battle... It was a complete rout, the like of which had
    never before been encountered...
Tsing-Bai witnessed the succes of his new weapon from a small hill
overlooking the battlefield and laughed manicly, no more would the
warlords of the Ming look down on him. With this new weapon, he knew
he could take over the world...

    At least unusual, surely?

I mean, it was rabid enough to want to bite Fr Jack without regard to
    the obvious dangers.

    Champ says...
She charged me 130 quid for the privilege of killing my cat, I was out
to get all I could for the money. Actually, she really was a sweet
intelligent lady and far too nice for me.

I did introduce her to a couple of fine eating places round here, one of
which I'd always thought was Italian, but turned out to be owned by
Peruvians. They only had Italian food on the menu, and an Italian name,
an easy mistake to make I thought. Vet-girl pointed out the pictures of
Llamas on the walls and various inca related things on display. How the
**** was I meant to know where Llamas come from, I've only ever seen
them in a petting-zoo in Luton.
