Yes, and a Bavarian music band.

Tell him to chuck it in the canal. The wiring & connectors just aren't
    up to the job.

And I'd agree. I've never had a blown bulb on either of the Tigers, the
MV, the Raptor, the Jeep or the Corvette, & I've owned three of those
    for over 12 years.

The exception is the pick-up, which had a blown rear light bulb when I
    bought it.

    Krusty spoke:
OIC! and with this experience you can advise on how easy it is to change
    a bulb on a jeep?

Having fitted some Philips 'white' bulbs less than a year ago - yes.

'Fraid not - still can't ride a bike either.
All being well, further surgery may well take care of that.

Sorry to hear that. Hang in there. Are you going to get a proper payout
    from her insurance?

Oh yes. My legal Rottweilers are taking care of all that.
Bath to shower conversion - they paid. Automatic car - they paid. Loss of
earnings - they are still paying. I dare say it will be a few years before
it all gets settled, but it ain't like I'm going anywhere / doing anything
    for a while.

Bit late, but you might find that there is a flap in the wheel arch that
    allows easier access.

He must have left the company, 'cos I've just done both bulbs on my
    Qashqai.

<fx:considers skinned knuckles on both hands>

Next time I'm paying a spotty 16-y-o at Halfords to change them.

Same on J's 206cc. Took me a while to realise too.
