    A slide hammer with a hook type thingy on the end ?

    Or suggestions on removing a 60k mile K100RS Silencer that appears to have
    never been off.

    I think you know the answer.

    What's the difference between stone cutting discs and metal cutting discs?
    I have a few without labels and can't remember which type they are.

    Stone cutters usually have (or CAN have) a slightly thicker edge encrusted
    with diamon dust. metal cutters are the same material all the way through
    and are "flat".

    You could probably rent one from HSS or a similar outfit for a couple of
    quid per day. That's if no-one has one to lend. You're a bit far from me or
    you could use ours.
