  1. I've not seen one about anywhere. Perhaps I don't head along the same
route that the "men in leather romper suits, off for a beer and
moustache day in the Cotswolds" take.

I think it is a joke. Certainly the other 2 presenters have bikes,
and there was just a bit of joshing when Neil Morrissey was on.

Maybe he was hoping to dispose of the evidence and reduce insurance
    costs? Seems reasonable to me.

    you'd heard that he'd written.

So you didn't actually read this yourself?

Any idea where he was supposed to have written this?

Smarmy, cleverer than anyone else. I don't really know. I just know if
I had to spend more than 10 minutes in his company I'd want to resort to
physical violence; actually that's a lie- I'd receive an imaginary phone
    call.

His television programmes have never really inspired me and his
journalism has me seething with rage (like it's meant to, I'm not for a
moment claiming he isn't talented). If you look at Top Gear it's
become a programme that's a vehicle for Clarkson rather than a programme
    about vehicles presented by Clarkson.

I'm sure I'd find him quite amusing
And I think that's quite untrue. Certainly he's the lead presenter on
the current incarnation of Top Gear, but the other two are quite
significant, and I find the banter between them very entertaining.

Well, everytime I've watched top gear recently that's the way it's
    appeared to me.

Maybe it's him that follows Sir Tony out of the carpark and tailgates
    him?

Oh, that? "Keeping up with Jones" or something - currently the 500
    watt bulb ad.

  15. Bah, I can't see the videos - now, is it my firewall, or the meeja
player, or is it the same (unknown) reason as I can no longer listen
to Radio 1...or something totally unrelated...?

    grr, grumble, gah...
