    Check the Sept 2002 issue of Sidetrack - there's a photo of guy doing a mono
    on a 2002 BMW GS Adventure, on sand no less. A friend has also mono'd my
    1100GS (but I can't do it, bugger).

    Probably something to do with the anti counter steering device
    that you and Alan have fitted , that 3rd wheel is a bugger to get
    round the counter steering and monoing effect .

    Yep sure am , hey I had one of those anti countersteering devices
    fitted to my 1100 Virago and belt drive HD Sporty to so I know
    all the facts .
    Strangely if you where savage enough with the clutch both would
    pick up the front wheel and turn sharply left, but that would be
    a duo not a mono wouldn't it?
