Only Max caught one tonight in some woods, and I swear they were more play-fighting than anything. It went on for a good 5 minutes until I could finally get max to come away. I got within 20' or so of them - the badger was very small - a pup? and neither of them had any evidence of blood. So would a badger pup play with a dog? -- Rob_P UKRM(at)indqualtec.co.uk uppercase(d) BBIWYMC#1 BOG#11? MRO#31 IBCDBBB#1(kotl) FJ1200, CCM130 Benelli Cabriolet (gone) Looks like Rab C Nesbit.
Badgers are incredibly vicious - I would bet that the dog may have been playing but if the badger had managed to get the opportunity it would have gone for the throat. We occasionally get them here and they're a major problem. -- Veggie Dave http://www.iq18films.co.uk "To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin." Dunno about the pups, but after a couple of hours in a sack the adults sometimes play with dogs for a few minutes.
