DIY gear indicator

    (Apologies if this is posted for a second time, but I couldn't find the
    original posting).
    Them things are a bit pricey (when you've got a cable driven speedo)!
    So, I've decided to build my own for the Bandit. Anyone got the 'switch'
    part from around the gearchange shaft and the gear display unit? They were
    fitted to various old six-speed Suzukis. There was one on my old GSX400EZ,
    and it worked well, so should be adaptable to fit the Bandit.
    Sensible prices please...

    Why? Just change gear when the revs demand it.

    I.e. when the engine is screaming and the rev limiter kicks in...
