Why does Xananews occasionally decide it has to download every article
in a group all over again? It knows they've been read OK, but buggers
off for half an hour to collect 30,000 articles all over...

Yes, yes, I can read it now. I'm using the right character set. :)

Hmmmm... Mine's done it a couple of times in the last week.

Also the pane showing the subscribed groups has become un docked from
the main program and appears annoyingly over the reading pane and I
can't get it to go back... Any ideas?

    Erm, you've fucked it?

Never had any trouble so I can't help you but I'm sure Woozle'll be
    along shortly.

    Mine doesn't either.
Grab hold of the floating pane and move to the left; make sure your mouse
pointer goes off the screen - IYSWIM.

Oh yeah, I've just been able to replicate your problem by un-maximising
it. I can see how that was annoying you.

  9. I'd forgotten to mention that I don't run it maximised.

All working again now - which is nice...

Just got to work out what the weather is going to do now to see if I
can be bothered to clamber on my bike and nip over to Snetterton or
    not...

Prolly not looking at the big black pendulous clouds here at the
    moment. :-(

They're here too, but weren't when I awoke.

I've decided to go for a play locally.

Any idea what the trade name is?
I'm OK for footpegs, but cheers for the offer.

Sold direct to automotive repair centres - apparently its just called bumper
repair kit, and he had access to that working there obviously. It's
basically epoxides like araldite but obviously in larger quantities.
