I'm typing this wearing my underpants.

Working at home is A Good Thing but I do miss the air conditioning.

it would have more disturbing to find out you /weren't/ wearing them.

That said, I've posted to Usenet naked more than once in the past.

AOL! In fact as this looks like becoming a regular tuesday thing, at
least for the next few weeks anyway, I'm thinking of getting one of
    those portable AC units.

Have just been into the attic and retreived my fan. Now *that* was hot up
there. I now have bits of fibreglass insulation in my underpants so it looks
like I'm going to have to move the whole monthly change thing forward a week
    or so.

By the way, since it was your big idea, could you pop round and pick up all
the papers which have blown off my desk. Cheers.

hey, if I suggested putting your head in a fire, would you do it?
well, unless you've moved, I still know where you live, so it be
theoretically possible. On the other hand, no.

We'd only be disappointed when we both turned out to be wankers.

Just bought one from B&Q. A bit noisy but cools well. The venting tube is
not very convenient. Although, if you have a proper chimney nearby then
that would provide an excellent outlet for the hot & humid air.
