I've been done before by a car with a camera in its rear bumper. Dunno
if it's the same as the ones you picture, but it could well be. First
time I saw it was about five years ago.

So, the Audi may be in use in Slovakia but not in France.

The ones in the crash barrier are in Switzerland.

The only one that could be French is the one in the Honda, but our plods
favour the Yamah FJ, the TDM and recycled Beemers. And riding that would
be a very dangerous job, some cagers noticing they got caught would have
a ball knocking bike and rider out of the road.

I still want to keep my UK licence and am a bit paranoid. Quite rightly so,
    TBH.

Well yers. The Gendarmes got me this year from a considerable distance using
    a tripod mounted radar.

Laser binoculars... catch you 500 meters away, before you see the plod.

    ofnuts wibbled forthrightly:
Are they effective on bikes? I know that as soon as the laser hits you,
you're caught, but it must be bloody difficult to get a bike,
    especially the front profile.
