Haven't bothered to renew ours, although I think the NSW one is still
current. Don't really need it anymore, the son can walk 100 mtrs unaided
    now.

best to leave the spots for cranky old fat bastards :)

I remember when they said they needed proof that you needed a sicker. I
walked into the RTA and sat a 2 year old tube fed down syndrome boy on the
counter and said.. is that proof?, issued on the spot. Time for a renewal
and they wanted a cert from a doc that he needed the permit. I asked the RTA
if you could actually recover from DS.... issue on the spot. 3rd time I had
to get a doc cert for it.... farkin import doc looked at him and said
    "what's wrong with him"?

    last time I bothered.

  10. Fuckin' pretend cripples! Like Glen said, it won't matter, but feel free
to help keep the flat tyre ratio on un-permited cars well above average.

it used to be at the descretion of the RTA , if they thought you needed it
    then no probs
if there was doubt then off to the doc
i do , i also enjoy free parking for hours at a time :) **** the council

Yeah, I know. A bit insensitive.

My aunt Mary had DS. She lived to the ripe old age of ~82. Lived more
or less independently in a farmhouse for quite a few years until she got
    too old.

Some shopping centres in Perth now have Senior's bays next to the disabled
bays. I love leaving the Guzzi in one.
