I've received numerous emails and calls for trails and tracks for
dirtbike/atv racing in our area (Breckenridge, Cisco, Moran). I met and
talked with David Cozart, owner of a local track. He said it's for
dirtbikes and ATVs, though he has had few, if any dirtbikes to show up. I
guess no dirtbikers knew about it.
Here's info about his 9 mile track:

    Dirtdevil CROSS COUNTRY
Round 3 of the West Division
    April 15, 16 & 17 2005

For more info, call David Cozart at 254.442.2042 or
    (mobile) 325.669.7195.

Directions: from Dallas take I-20 west to exit 332 (Cisco,
Texas). Go north through town and continue north-west on
Hwy 6. Go approx 8 miles and turn north (right) on FM-1853
Go approx 4 miles and entrance will be on the left.
Call David Cozart for Electricity Hook Ups 254.442.2042 or
    325.669.7195.

Concessions provided at the track, Saturday and Sunday.

    Gate Hours: Friday 1pm - 10pm, Saturday 8am - 10pm
    Sunday 6:30am.

Gate Fees: $10 per person, $10 per ATV or Dirt Bike
(6 under, and 60 older are FREE)

    Sign Up Times: Saturday 10am - 11:30am
Sunday 7am - 8am. Note: Sign up will close promptly at the times
stated above. So if you want to race you need to be at sign up
when it opens. Should you have an emergency on Sunday and
miss sign up Gayle will try to work you in during the Lady and Mini
event after we get them started (approx 12:30pm).

Electronic Scoring at this event: You will be required to
purchase a "tag" for electronic scoring at this event. From this
point forward ATVCCS is electronically scoring the events. Tags
are $15 and should last for approx 5 years. Note sign up needs
to be done early so that we can get the races started on time. The
scoring chute will be set up Sunday Morning for rider to ride through
so they can make sure their tag is working properly. All riders will
be required to go through the scoring chute before they go to the
starting line and this must be done before the first class starts their
race. NOTE: if your number does not show up on the display sign
then it's up to you to pull out of the scoring chute and make sure
scoring personnel writes down your number.

Race Entry Fees: $20 per class, $30 for PRO Class. $10 per
rider for Buddy Race on Saturday.

Membership Fee: $10 per rider per year for each division (East
    or West) $20 for Both.

Awards: PRO Class is 100% Cash Pay Back and 1st
Place will receive a Plaque in addition to the money. All other
classes are awarded Plaques or Trophies for 1st through 3rd place.
And ALL PEE WEE's will receive Trophies.

Race Schedule: Saturday 12pm Pee Wee 50 (<6), 12:45 Pee
    Wee 90 (7-8), 1:30pm Pee Wee 90 (9-10), 3pm Buddy Race
The Buddy Race is on the main track and anyone can race this race.
Your allowed to race the same machine or different machines. You
ride a Dirt Bike or a Quad. This is a great way for first timers to get
their feet wet in cross country racing.
Sunday 8:15am Church Service, 8:30am Riders
Meeting. 9:00am Pro, Open A, 4-Stroke, Vet and Junior, 12:00pm
Lady, Mini, and Youth Lady, 1:30pm Open B, Senior, Youth, Super
    Senior, and Utility.

Special Events: After the Buddy race on Saturday there will be a
Wheelie Contest (feet on the pegs). After that there will be a single
elimination Drag Race. Both events are $5 to enter and winner takes
all. Then later Saturday evening there will be a Poker Run.

Practice Time: Main Track and Pee Wee track is open for practice
on Friday. Note: only pee wee riders are allowed on the pee wee
track. Saturday the pee wee track closes at 11:30am for pee wee
riders meeting. Main track is open for practice until 2:30pm on Sat.
and will re-open after the Buddy race is finished. Sunday the pee
wee track is open for pee wee riders only all day. The main track is
    open from 6:30am until 7:30am.

Quiet Time: NO riding after dark. Parent's it's up to you to set an
example and to police your children. If I have to go out and chase
you down you will receive a backward start penalty at the very least.

Camping Area Speed Limit: If your not on the marked track then
your considered to be in the camp area. Speed Limit is 10mph or
slower. This was out of control at the first race at Rabbit Creek and
it's going to come to a stop. I will be making riders start backward
or DQ them if they can't keep their speed under control.
