Digital speedo £3.99

Hi,

I asked some time ago about the use of digital push-bike speedos on
motorbikes...

Aldi the super market chain have such an item on special offer as from
last Thursday at £3.99. That's right £3.99!

It has a nice big clear display of speed, along with the option to also
display temperature(current/max/min), time, average speed, odometer,
travel time, average speed and etc..

I just fitted one and tried it on a 10 mile run. It seems able to
display speed up to at least 90mph and this one doesn't seem to suffer
the speed display pausing, like the other one I recently tried.

The two core flex linking the head to the pickup is too short, but a
short bit is easy to splice in. The polarity does not matter. The
ceramic magnet can be bolted onto the brake disk, or simply taken out
of the little bracket and Aroldited in place.
