Difficulty in shifting from 4th to 5th gear

    Hi,

    There is no problem shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd to 4th gear during
    acceleration. When shifting from 4th to 5th gear, the shifting is not smooth
    and sometimes I have to apply force to kick the level.

    I had already changed the clutch and engine oil but no improvement. Any
    advice is appreciated.

    It might help if you mentioned what bike you are talking about,
    how many miles are on it, has it ever been crashed or tipped over, etc.

    What bike?

    Have you checked the chain tension?

    Is the gear lever loose or hitting something it shouldn't?
