different type shifter lever for 77 CB550

    Since the last time I had a bike (12 years ago) I've had a pinched nerve in
    my left leg. It goes all the way down to my big toe of all things. It hurts
    my toe quite a bit for me to upshift. Is there some kind of flat pedal that
    gives more surface area for my foot?

    Another way would to have a rocking shifter pedal where I press forward to
    downshift and press back on my heel to upshift.

    I've been searching ebay and google for something like that but haven't
    found one yet.

    Not really interested in a suicide shifter yet.

    Found 'em for Goldwings but nothing generic. Guess I might have to make up
    my own.
