Bridge Motorcycles are discounting the Super Tenéré already - "cancelled
    order" my arse.

The pre-order online thing seems to have failed[1] and dealers are now
being issued with demo bikes in an attempt to get people interested. If
they knock another third off the price then maybe.

[1] hardly surprising when the asking price was £13500 for something nobody
    had seen

[nods] I was very interested in this as dealer service is important
and I think our local Yamaha/Suzuki dealer (Alford Bros. in
Folkestone) is excellent but not at that price.

Same here. South Wales Superbikes are not far away with reasonable back-up
in Hereford or Gloucester, so a Yamaha appeals once I return to the world
    of the salaried.

I love the way they winch bikes into the upstairs showroom through a
trapdoor with ropes tied around the bike. It's fucking scary to watch

I agree. I keep meaning to ask if they've ever dropped one but that
    might rather tempt fate.
