... for Gangster No 1 (C4, last Saturday night)? A thoroughly brutal, squirm-inducing movie about inter- and intra-gang rivalries with the most offensive language I heave heard on the TV combined with some truly horrific violence. Excellent though unsettling. -- jeremy ['75 RD250A ] | ['02 Fazer 600 in blue] ____________________________________________ jeremy dot ovenden at hazelweb dot co dot uk
I sat and watched it, and thought at the end 'what a load of crap'. I'm glad I've never paid to watch it. I was told it was a 'sort of' rip-off of Reservoir Dogs, which I went to see 3 times at the cinema, but that connection is certainly not there, at least for me. Alan.
Jeremy says... Good casting but the plot's been done a thousand times before, and it's been done better. Some interesting dialogue and good attention to detail in the 60s scenes. I kinda liked it for a few reasons, but there was more to dislike IYSWIM
