Did Rossi let Hayden win?

I know it's a horrible suspicion, but it must be somewhere in the back
    of everyone's mind.

Laguna Seca almost doesn't count, in the sense of it being Hyden's
    track and nobody else's.

Rossi has fallen a few times, but was the end-of-championship fall
genuine? Rossi is a multi-year champ, and he likes Nicky, and he has
a healthy optimism that he'll take the crown again in 2007 in any
    case.

I've been away from the newsgroups for months, so maybe this has been
sewn up and buried by now, but ---- NH is NOT looking like even a
podium racer right now. And hey, I like Hayden a lot.

NO, Yamaha *engineering* did, cost TheDoctor 60 points....

Actually that should have been Verm/Suzukis race

Once again this year show the level of Hayden and of course Rossi

No, Rossi choking and binning it during the most crucial race of the season
    is what cost him
Except Hayden is World Champ, as he deserved to be (not choking and all)

    Um, no
How is it "Hayden's track" exactly?
Yes. He cracked under the pressure and deservedly lost his title

No, I think the MotoGP paddock would have suffered heavy critisism if
Rossi had won the championship after Pedro' torpedoed the Kentucky
Fried Kid at Portugal. A win from Rossi (or 2nd, 3rd, 4th)etc would
have been enough to gain him another title and this year might well
have started out with a number of rider clashes.

Haydens OK, not near so much a good ambassador for the USA as Edwards is
    though.

Hayden is not in the same class as Rossi, most people who put national
prejudice aside will agree with this.

Rossi had way too many problems last year that were totally out of his
control, he still showed class by clawing back a tremendous amount of points
in the second half of the season.

Hayden's accident with Pedorosa, coupled with Rossi's unbelievable fall,
just goes to show the incredible pressure at the top.

I'd say Rossi is far more of a sportsman than Hayden ... if Rossi said he
was optimistic about Hayden this year, then he was just being kind .. lets
face it Hayden got a freak win last year, but it just goes to show ...
    anything can happen.

This year, it is obvious Hayden is struggling, my honest opinion is, Hayden
will struggle all year long, while Pedorosa goes on to make a fool out of
    him and Honda.

I'd also go as far as saying, Rossi is still a world beater, the guy most
    likely to be 2007 champ.

if we are going to take bets ...

I'd put Rossi first at end of season

    Hayden 6th ... and that's being kind

This is no Eurotrash wind up for folks like Mark to get wound up about, just
a very realistic expectation on my part, with no foregone excuse making
    exercise for anyone.

Reads (smells) more like bait to me, presented a little differently, but a
    troll nonetheless...

Just saying it like it is ... from my PoV.

If Mark gets wound up, then so be it, he's more than guilty of trolling
himself, with far more Rah Rah chest beating USA rules, type posts.

In all honesty, seeing people taking this great sport *far* too seriously on
this group is always a humorous sideshow to the real meat and veg ... The
    Racing itself.

Anyway, week to go until the next race, a week to go for Hayden's next
humiliation and seeing the excuses on here for Hayden's poor performance
from the Fan Boy once more :)

    Bring it on.

And you're entitled to it, if in fact, that's what it really is..
Heh, I kinda doubt he feels that he's ever trolled, though I have seen him
rise to the bait a few times..
I'm not sure how *great* it is, though I do agree about the humor involved..
Nice, a fellow angler I see. You might want to try something less flashy and
work it a little deeper next time..
Oh, and be careful, as you should know "shit happens" and in MC racing it
happens with some regularity. One must be careful not to get hooked by
    their own lure...

LOL, look at the very origin of this thread, if that's not a wind up, I
    don't what is.

if you've forgotten ... it is called

    "Did Rossi let Hayden win"

Now please stop the amateur pseudo psycho analysis, of course I'm fucking
taking the piss! I'd have thought when I used the term "Eurotrash" on myself
it would have given a clue, I was winding up, or if you like, trolling (is
that wrong?) but at the same time interjecting a bit of my own thoughts on
    the season so far.

Lighten up, you are better than this.

PS: don't do the dissecting of posts when answering, you will have to do
    with this for now :)

Heh, I wasn't at all, just bored to death here today, it's raining ala the
UK, the GF is working and the WSB races don't come on Speed for a few
    hours...
