  1. .... see the trailer for the Hospital Kingdom on BBC3?
It's the new Stephen King thing.

No? Ah well, skip the rest of this post then.

    Still here? Good.

Is it just me, or is it very Garth Megrinhi's Dark Place?

  2. Nope I don't got beeb3 - but I have got on DVD "Riget" which is the Lars
Von Trier original, Danish TV series. Still watching it at the mo, very odd.

Is it going to be shown on Beeb3 soon, or is this a long drawn out
    trailer campaign?
    Don't know that either - worth a read/watch?

Yes, just after High Fidelity last night.
Yes. But I don't think it is going to fall into the 'so bad you have
to watch it for 5 minutes' category that GM ended up in.

  5. Dunno. Was laughing too much at the Dark Place-ness of it
    to pay much attention...

(if any bbc3 trailer producers are reading, you have been warned!)
    A watch. I wish I'd seen more.

Or not. That was possibly the first couple of episodes of C4's
'Shameless'. I'm still waiting for a new 'Sopranos'.

  7. A quick scan shows he's a little up his own arse and should have gone to
    specsavers.

    Shameless rocked.
I quite liked the earlier episodes, but never really got into it in any
    big way.

I'd have thought you would have found it a little too close to home.

  11. well I presumed it was tongue in cheek, but why someone would want to
pretend they're up their own arse, is beyond me...

For a culchy you're right up yourself, aren't you.

whatever - just was an easy throw-away one-liner. Like the
    feral-apostrophe, BTW - nice touch.
    ^^^^^^
you don't appear to know what the word means.

  15. Oh I don't know....

"For a person who isn't highly regarded, you're right up yourself,
    aren't you."

    Seems about right to me...

so you don't know what "culchy" means, either.

    Carry on.

  17. Well a culch, in derogative form, is someone who isn't highly regarded.
ICBA to google further, but it fits with what Lozzo might have been saying.

So why don't you enlighten us?

Fair play, but I very rarely get my apostrophes wrong.
I certainly do, but "whatever - just was an easy throw-away one-liner."
