Made my first bike trip to the Dick Turpin tonight and it was bloody
freezing, ended up having a cup of tea to warm myself up rather than a
beer... hardly a hard nosed biker yet eh!

Only half a dozen bikes while I was there,

Sipping Drambuie to warm my cockles now.

You should have said earlier and I've have come up there. The CD needs a
run, now it's taxed and all.

By rights you should make it a point to stick to the tea until you are
ready to put your keys away for the day.

He used to have a hideout [1] at the end of what is now Brigstock Lane in
Forn'n Eaff [2] back in the days when it was a track through the Great North
    Wood.

    I'll get my jacket....

[1] roughly where the snooker hall is.
[2] Don't forget your glottal stops.

Good point, I normally have a weak pint (max) for the car, not sure I would
feel comfortable about doing the same when on the bike.

Same here. I also wear blinkers on my visor so I'm not distracted by
long-legged totty perambulating along the pavement lest I lose control of my
    motorcycle.
Not to mention keeping off stimulants of any kind (Coca-Cola, Coffee,
Chocolate bars) as they make me wheelie through shopping precincts and
primary school playgrounds shrieking manically "I AM THE SPAWN OF SATAN AND
I WANT TO KILL YOU ALL!!"

I'm suprised that there were any bikes at all. I don't suppose anyone was
stunting in the car park or that Essex plod had their helicopter out this
    evening either.

If I'd known there was going to be a meet I'd have popped down in the
    Volvo[1]:).

    1. It has lovely heated seats.

    Well I've been out tonight.
My workload has gone down a bit lately. Also my kids are a bit better at
    going to bed,
so next summer I may get down a bit earlier. Dunno what on though :)

You overheard me with that French bird of yours, then?

    Blimey. That was quick.

Had my eye on one for a while. Then I phoned one up and he was in South
    Woodham!
    Result.
