Diameter size of Dynojet drill bit: DD #52

  1. Hi Guys,

I'm fiddling with the carb's for my 1999 Kawasaki ZX-9R again. With the
Dynojet ket there was originally a drill bit included but they don't tell
you the size. The part number is: DD #52

Anyone know the size? It's small.

  2. Sorry about the 2nd post. Maybe a better way to ask this question:

Many of the jetkit manufacturers for carb bikes recommend drilling a small
hole on the bottom of the CV slide to allow it te open quicker. I have
Dynojet, their bit is called DD #52. Ivan's does this too. Any experience
out there? Maybe there is better rule of thumb avialable for this?

If it's the same as a standard #52 drill bit, it's 0.0635" in diameter, just
    a hair larger than a 1/16" drill (0.0625").

  5. Chris, you da man. I had thought of this but I wasn't aware of the standard
except for 1/4 and so on, so I thought it was a "secret" code. Thanks. This
also complies with visual inspection from a friends who had it done.

No such luck. Here's a link to a complete size chart.

The #52 falls into the "Wire Size" column.
