DFW Bike theft

  1. this is forwarded from another list, slightly dated, but the bikes are
still missing so it can't hurt:

    To all,

Many may know this by now, especially if you're on the BMWDFW,
TXAirheads, or OKAirheads yahoogroup list but this is to advise others
to be on the lookout for two stolen BMW motorcycles.

The first, an ORANGE 2002 K1200RS, license TX 528 L4M, owned by Reed
    Roach
The second, a METALLIC RED, 1984 R80RT, license TX 971 C4F, owned by Jim
    Hemsworth

The two motorcycles were loaded and locked within a WHITE " PACE "
brand (sold by Home Depot) 6 X 12 foot cargo trailer. The only
distinguishing mark on the trailer was a Home Depot decal on the rear
bumper. The trailer license is TX 36W HYK. At the time of the theft,
the trailer was not attached to a vehicle but the tongue was double
locked. The trailer and it's contents were stolen from Reed's driveway
(Buckner Blvd, in the vicinity of White Rock Lake in east Dallas)
sometime between 4:30 and 6 PM on Friday, 25 Jun 2004.

The K12RS has a very distinctive ORANGE paint job, very much one of a
    kind!

If you think you've seen these motorcycles, please contact the police
and Reed Roach, with the information.

Please pass this information on to others as you see fit!

    Thanks,

    Mike Moon, BMWDFW
    Fort Worth
