Devil's Staircase - Powys; Gravel alert.

I came over the Staircase (near Abergwesyn) this afternoon - very tricky
beause Powys Highways have spread large amounts of gravel up it. Be warned
to go very carefully for a week or two.

I'm glad I gave that a miss on Sunday then. I was thinking of taking the
Abergwesyn, Llyn Briane route to Llandovery. Although, the GS would've
probably shrugged of a bit of gravel

I was in need of some refreshment by the time I got to Llan. Wells and
zoomed on down the A483 to the Westend Café. They do a jolly good ice
cream.

In a similar vein, they've done across the top of Llangynidr Mountain. The
B4560 Beaufort to Llangynidr road.

They fuckers will be everywhere now the sun has come out.
