Derbyshire/Notts tonight? MFN or something?

Having discarded an urge to head out down to Avebury, I'm going to go
out for a bimble later. The usual suspects are either working or
broken so anyone fancy a run over to the MFN night at Shipley or
    suggest somewhere else?

Pub in Shipley, bike nights Monday and Wednesday. Tables and grass,
greasy food vans, pub bit has bands on, though left before they'd
opened the back bit up tonight (Austrian rolling stones apparently) as
it is now officially hay fever season for me and I hadn't stuck any
    anti histamines in my leather.

Had a lovely bimble, sorted out my left handers which had been
hesitant since I scared myself by running wide on the way back from
Veggie's place, but on the approach to one right hand bend I found a
small furry object that used to belong to Mr Eaton sitting on the
    handle bars.

Out again tomorrow to sort it.

    29mm sir?
Now go and wash your hands.
It's my first visit from him in months. Absolutley no need, downhill
90 degree turn, cars ahead so wasn't exceeding the limit but I just
felt that need for a little dab.
I'm trying to plan a 5 to 10 mile circular route that I can do again
and again and improve positioning speed on each circuit. I think it
may be time for a track day.

Known by us locals as "Middle of Fucking Nowhere" because for all
intents and purposes it is just exactly that. Alternatively you could
(quite accurately) call it "Money For Nothing" as it happens to be owned
    by an ageing rock star.

    Ahh right. Ta.
My symptoms seem to respond better to direct action so I'm firmly in
the eye drops and nasal spray camp myself. Nothing brings my hayfever
on quicker than the ram air effect of riding.
Is that the panic braking or the comfort braking? - I forget. I've been
trying to stop myself from doing the latter and think I've just about
cured it, but it's not easy.

If you or any of the other locals feel like a bimble, let me know. I'm
    just off Jn 25 M1.

I'm debating this - the Zirtek I was using that worked last year gave
me a measley 3 hours of relief this year before the sneezing fits
    started again :(

Does anyone know of eye drops that are OK for contact lens wearers?
    The comfort braking.
    Shoot the teddy.
Will do, drop an email to the addy in the headers with a mobile, most
week day bimbles are the 'looks nice, the kids are driving me mad, I'm
off out on the bike for a bit' variety.

There's a nightclub visit and bimblage being planned for first weekend
in July which might be vaguely organised for certain values of
    organised.

Yes, I think it is. Are you back in the country now? How's next
    Wednesday sound for a bimble?

Came back early yesterday after a 17 hour road trip in the new SOFC.....

Next Wednesday may be possible depending on getting the new bodywork put on
the NS and swapping the tacho from my 'spare' one and a few other bits n
bobs that I intend[1] to do this weekend...

    Dave

[1] That's *intend* to do.. But with WSB and MotoGP and having to practice
MotoGP4 I may not find time in my hectic drinking schedule to get it all
    done.. :)

    How's the house going?
You've been taking lessons at bloke school haven't you...
If you haven't sorted it then either borrow her bike or she can come
    instead.

Up til Tuesday morning it was going very slowly.. Then the magic builder
fairy must've woken up or something 'cos suddenly it all looks like it'll be
ready to live in by the time we arrive in, erm, less than 5 weeks. This is
rather good as, on Monday, there was still no floor downstairs, no kitchen,
no bathrooms and no toilets fitted and lots of gaps and holes.

Its amazing what a difference having 6 people working at the same time
    instead of 1 can make.....
If you're implying I'm shedding my 'honorary bird' diploma... Well I'm
trying.... But the NS bits do really need doing - the tacho is a bit
knackered on the 500, but the 400 one works fine, so I should be able to
swap that. And given the amount I spnt on getting the bodywork done, I'm
not leaving that in the garage... Then again, at least I wont be able to
damage it if I leave all the bits in their protective bubble wrap... Oh
shit. I've not gone to bloke school... I've gone to the NS-obsessive
    version of train spotter school!!!!
Just checked and it's only MotoGP, so only 4 hours lost on Sunday then....
Oh yeah.. Forgot that the R6 is still here... In that case, what's the
    plan?

You flogging the one here or renting it out?
Ask Matt about squeezing past the car on the ZX9.
You can get help. Though it may be tooo late.
Plan? We meet up, ride somewhere, have a drink, come back, not too
late cos we've an early flight the next morning. Gatecrasher are
playing at MFN if you fancy music.

    Any other ideas?

Original plan was to do neither. Current estimate of a £30k overspend in
    France means possible re-think....
He wasn't on the M25(Dartford-M1) around midnight on Weds/Thurs was he?
Only there was a ZX9 wot was filtering at a 'MattG' pace..... But not as
close as those scray people on the Peripherique 7 hours earlier...
    Sounds good to me...
Me? Ideas? What do *you* think? :)
