Crikey, those RSV Mille are cheap to insure :)

Matey boy is bringing it here for me for £100, not worth getting up at 6am
saturday, paying £70 for a train ticket & another £25 in fuel home.

    Prepare for sig change :)

  4. That's Italian electrics for you. My mate on his Benelli Tre turned up
just as I was getting the RD ready for MOT - "Started ok did it?" he
asked, I asked him the same - he'd had a few problems with his plain
Tornado before he got the Tre...

He seems to have bought at the bottom of the market though - 4 mile old
Tre bought for 6k and he got offered a lot more for it a few weeks
    later.

  5. That was pretty much the story on his Tornado, niggling little problems,
niggling bigger problems, but he always liked it and fancied a Tre. He
scored one that somebody had bought as an investment and never ridden -
hence the 4 miles on the clock - and it's been the model of reliability
so far. He actually uses it and has clocked up reasonable miles in the
short time he's had it. There are enough specialist dealers in the UK
that they can be looked after OK - but spares availability sounds like a
bit of a problem, especially the carbon goodies on the Tre.

Bastard loud on standard pipes, I'm about 6 houses down and it wakes us
up when he commutes to work - so no idea what his immediate neighbours
    think.

Ginge might have seen it in the work car park recently.

Heh. My Falco, when it was in for what was eventually diagnosed as a
worn starter sprag clutch, would apparently alternate between shooting
flames out the exhaust and flames out of the airbox...

Even if it gets to him in one piece, the chances of him still having it in six
    months are sub-zero.
