What's this? UKRM coming over all polite? Whatever is wrong?
Nah, don't apologise. I /was/ trying to be funny (and probably not
managing), I just didn't have time to reply straight away.

I have to go to the police station now to report the accident. Yet
another thing I should have done at the scene but didn't.....

Anyway, thanks again for the pointer to ridersupport - you may have
saved me at lot of money.

Unfortunately the first hornet I had, I dropped at about 20mph and it hit a
kerb and bent the forks - something that hornets seem prone to. But in
theory you're right, once I had mine all crash bunged up I just used to drop
it on the floor rather than arse round with the sidestand. The zxr400 i have
now seems incredibly fragile in comparison.

  3. If you do it right, not only will you save money but you'll make a bit
    for your trouble as well.

    Good luck.

They came up trumps for me. Did an absolutely fantastic job with my
claim, but they totally fucked up for Petrolcan so YMMV.

Not good enough a distinction. I mean, an immaculate, as new, Black
Shadow would be worth something in excess of thirty grand, but it
still has disk brakes. I can't see anyone referring to it as a SOB.

OTOH your 400/4 has a front disk brake, but I most certainly would
    call it a SOB.

Oh yeah? Well you post many times a day and you've forgotten how to
    write English!

    So there!

If I'm completely honest I haven't been lurking all this time - my pc
threw a major wobbly and I had to start again from scratch.

I didn't get around to reinstalling agent until this morning. The
rest got done just before Christmas.

See you on the FOF in March? Or are you still in forn parts?

Yes but they become "timeless classics" when he punts them back out on ebay.

The taxi driver sure as shit wouldn't have buggered off if he thought
he'd get a repaired door out of the OP.

I wonder if this was a black cab. If so, the local authority might be
    able to help.

When does a pride and joy become a SOB anyway? Is there a UKRM

Doesn't that scare small children as they walk past?

I've used them twice when I lived in the UK. Spot on both times and a
bonus £400 for an injured knee on my second accident (which went
    through the MIB)
