Bollox. You are going to throw it sooner or later you might as well
face it and you might as well enjoy the fucking thing while you are
    waiting.

    Get some bollox instead then.

Top trick, Phone the ones you know are cheapest to get a ballpark number
*then* just ring Carolle Nash and say they'd already quoted you - When
they don't find it on the system tell them to re-do it, then whatever
the price comes out at say "no it was lower than that, I was told it was
    your lowest price"..

I got £40 knocked off an already fairloy reasonable (£540 for both bikes
FC, EU recovery, green card, etc) quote today by doing this.

Going to ring Aunty tomorrow along with all the others but tonight
I've got around 10 quotes from web-based ones and none can even come
close to H&R. Biketeam have beaten them but with a 750 quid excess
which I'm not too comfortable with. Mind you, H&R's excess is 500.
Most are coming in around 1300 with the odd silly money one around the
    3k[1] mark.

Looks like H&R will get it, I don't hold out much hope for getting it
substantially cheaper and they have (bar from Jen) got a good
reputation. I'm not feeling to bad about it though, total budget was
7.5k so even with insurance that high, I'm still well under budget.

[1] Do people really pay this?

That might hurt him. I'm going to put a playing card in mine so even if
we go the same speed I sound faster.

So, with the playing card effect if I do overtake it'll look and sound
    ultra cool.

    I have indeed.
I hate to say it, but no.

    1) I haven't got it yet.
    2) I really don't want anything to happen to it.

Still, we'll get out for a ride in the New Year.
