    ....it's all your fault.

    I've just bought a GSXR1000.

£5500 down from £6k, with a new set of 010s, full service and a
    Datatag thrown in.

It's immaculate. Never been out in the rain by the looks of it.

I'm a very happy bunny and picking it up next week :)

I'm pretty happy with it. It's a K1 model with only 5000 miles on it.

Not. Like I said up there, there are loads of them and it's a bad time of
    year for dealers.

    Black/red/silver like the 750 I had.
It's good to be back. I can't get rid of the smile.

If he does, I'll be round there in me built-up boots and #1, picking
    it up "for him".

FFS don't forget it's the Thou and give it a 750-sized handful at 5K
for a couple of weeks, eh? That could prove to be ... illuminating.
I'll bet you can't. You lucky bastard.

There are but the mileages are a lot higher. There is nothing on
Biketrader less than 5k that hasn't been crashed and most around 5.5k
have at least 10000 miles on them.

Does the panel think there are any particular downsides to buying something
like this for sometime road use? One does get a shit load of goodies.

    Suzuki GSXR1000K1 2001
Blue printed WPE Motor (160bhp), Power Commander, K&N, Yoshi tri-oval can
and link pipe, wets on wheels, Ohlins rear shock, Ohlins steering damper,
    Ohlins Superbike fork conversion, V5.
5th fastest through speed traps at Brands Hatch BSB and 3rd fastest lap of
the race Brands Hatch BSB 2003. £5400 ono

I know it's been thrashed ) but probably hasn't done that many actual
miles....and I do have a large spares kit.

Best I'm looking at is 840 FC with H&R. That said I haven't done a
full ring-around yet and it doesn't have an alarm. That's also with 3
    yrs NCB.

I will do, we'll get a ride in in the new year. I will be going
    indecently slow though.

Oh, I do. This one is _not_ going down the road[1]. Even if I'm
    slower than Ginge.

[1] It's got mushrooms already. I don't want to find out if they
    work.
