Daytona boots...

Waterproofs, does it? Checked yours out today, have you? I don't ask
in an inflammatory manner, but I do recall someone Formerly Of This
Parish who was adamant that rubbing six coats of baby oil into her
leather jeans would waterproof them, in the face of all sorts of
reasoned (and doubting) opinion. All was well, until the fateful day
of the cloudburst BOTAFOT ...

Her legs turned as blue as the air around her ;-)

 

Well I'm afraid my boots let a little water in today. Very
disappointed.

Well I'm mightily chuffed with my Daytona Road Star GTX boots. 30
miles in *pissing* rain, which got through my Sidi one-piece oversuit,
but left my feet warm and dry, convinced me of their overall
wonderfulness.
