  1. Never come off on diesel - but I have crashed the car on a diesel
slick. As did the 5 cars in front and the 3 cars behind.

More so now it wears 90's era 4 pot Brembos although the original P8s it
    had weren't bad.

Have so. I've braked hard only using the R/H disc without the rear -
again more so with the 4 pots - and it's pretty much as unsettled as the
    Turbo.

They handle about the same but there's 10 or 15 years development between
    them.

    Yes, wasn't anything special.

  3. There you are then. If you'd had your lights off the Vulva driver
wouldn't have had a target to aim for.

They're breaking both the traffic laws & the laws of evolution - people
that dense should never have survived long enough to reach driving age.

I dropped an R65 on diesel once, & added some of Castrol's finest to
the slick through the hole that appeared in the rocker cover as it slid
    down the road.

Good point and very well made with a clarity, attention to factual
correctness and detail, which is frankly astonishing.

It is still just a rumour but given what you have posted about prices I
am inclined to investigate a little bit harder.

Have much is an original exhaust system?

Or 'defective' eyes? I am perfectly legal to drive with my glasses or
lenses, but my astigmatism causes unpleasant halos around badly used
    lights.

If it's just a dab, how does it make the back wheel twitch? Sounds
    like a big dab.

I have the inkling of a business proposal to make - but you're way
ahead of me already, by the sound of it.
If it's in good nick - about as much as GWB would pay to find an
undisturbed cache of WMD in Iraq. Plus VAT.

Hmm. I might just dream about a drip tray for me pot tonight.

  14. Because that light dab also puts on the back caliper on the VFR800. And
on a wet road that wasn't a good idea.

    prescription.
    I'll put the kettle on.

  19. Oh, you don't need variable valves, just a 2-stroke. Gamma (12
    bhp@6000rpm/21bhp@6500rpm) was fun cornering at intersections in Wancouver;
half way 'round the corner it'd do a space-warp into the next lane...
