How do I fix the ABC digital TV clocks though? Played havoc with my PVR all
last season, and they show no sign of fixing it this year either.
The other channels managed to get it right almost immediately this time,
(channel 9 hiccups on Friday excepted)
Just HOW incompetent are ABC staff?

I rang ABC to point this out a few years ago and they swore blind it
wasn't them sending the time signal. After getting transferred around
a fair bit I gave up. (I think SBS had the same problem and you could
actually see the displayed time change when you changed the channel)
Now I've got a different PVR that allows you to ignore the time-signal
but I thing the EPG still functions incorrectly on a couple of
    channels while EDST is on.

Yep, gave me the same crap last year, which is why I claim their staff are
    TOTALLY incompetent.
And if you send email, they just ignore you.
Yes, but not last year or this, only a couple of years ago.

Still can every time I swap to ABC from another channel. And you have to be
VERY careful when programming to record ABC if watching another channel, or
    vice versa.

That's the trouble, many people won't admit there is a problem because their
    box ignores the time code.
You would think a government agency would abide by Australian time
    standards, but NO!
Even the commercial channels can get it right now. (TEN had problems years
ago, but even they can manage now)

I wish I could at least withhold my 8 cents a day until they fix it :)
