Hi Does anyone know what the object in the photo is. I've been resurrecting a 1999 Honda vfr 800.ive been replacing things and when I've come to start it I remember if the object was open or closed it was stuck to the rear mudguard with tape originally. Does anyone know what it is and does it need to be open or closed . There seems to be a little switch where the metal contacts it. I'm presuming it's to do with the datatool but don't really know. Just know bike won't start now.
