    Hi,

I've got a problem with my Evo alarm.

Late in november, my alarm handset battery got discharged, a couple
days later i replaced it, but now doesn't disarm the bike (when the
circle button is pressed in the handset the red light seems ok) and
everytime i try to switch bike on, the alarm goes off.
Ended up leaving it, intending to deal with it now in january.

During the last couple of months the bike battery got discharged. So I
took it out of the bike and recharged it using optimiser III. When i
plugged my battery back to the bike today, the alarm went off. This
happens as soon as the bike connectors got in touch with the battery.

The troubleshooting section ondatatool wasn't very clear.
Would this be a simple case of:
.. the handset being out of sync with the alarm
.. or the alarm being 'spiked'

How would i know which is which and how to resolve it? Can you please
    advise.

Best Regards and many thanks in advance
    Ped

I had a similar problem with mine. The battery had run out, so
replaced it. Luckily it worked. My bikes battery had run low so I too
it out and re-charged it, the alarm kept going off and I had to stan
and turn it off every few mins for over an hour because the alar
thought the bike was being nicked!!!( break in electrical circuit)
I suppose it will teach me to buy a trickle charger (Optimate)

As to your Fob being out of sync, I dont think this can happen as it i
only coded to your alarm. So it cant go out of sync. Good luck mate!!
