Well, just been groveling to the bank manager, we now have some money in our
account.. paid back over the next 18 months :)

So firstly i need to get my bike test quick.. i've phoned around all my
local and not so local places i can find (Grantham.. right out to
luton/leeds etc) and the soonest i can get is the 10th of august, my local
centre can get me a test for the 9th,

Seems the only way i can do it sooner is to get a cancelation, i'm on the
list of a few schools for wanting a cancelation, but i'm not holding out
    much hope,

Anyone on here or know of anyone who's got a 3 day das course booked in the
midlands area, with a test before the end of july, that they wish they
haddent booked.. but can't cancel without loosing money??
All my prices for my local places are £400 for a 3 to 4 day course with the
test fee included (done me CBT, got me theory, doing about 4 to 500 miles a
week on a 125 for experiance)

gary AT kampenwagen DOT co DOY uk is the best way to contact me (repolace
the capitalised bits with the symbols of course)

Once i have my test, we're after a virago 535, anyone know of one going for
around the 1300 quid mark?? as new as possible (that price seems to get good
uns ranging from 1993 to 1996 models.. prefer a post 1995 model)
    mileage.. anything under about 25k,
    colour.. anything but silver really,
slash cut exhausts is almost a must.. high sissy bar would be nice too, but
appart from that, as long as it's in good condition, once i pass me test i
should have the cash waiting, and then the means to ride it home.

    again:

    Cheers.

    <snip ebay links>

Seen em ta, not really keen on ebay auctions, i'd much rather just se a
picture of the bike in question, a description, and an asking price, then i
know if i can afford it or not, and not fanny about bidding, trying to view
it, then loosing at the last minute,

Got me test booked for the 2nd of august now, doing it with bikeskool of
mansfield.. hope they're a good place to learn with,
seems sutton in ashfield test centre isn't that popular.. they had a load of
free slots for the next few weeks, tho they were selling out fast.. prolly
all the bike schools i rang booking tests they've just released again :)

Bugger that, email the seller, ask to see it and offer 'em hard cash if
    it;'s any good.
    Good luck

Except that training is the only way you get to ride the bike you're going
to take the test on on the road: you can't take it on a 125.

However, a couple of lessons might do the trick and would be cheaper than
one of those 2-3 day courses.
