It's the only place (near Milan) that I have seen to lads on small motos
pull on to the verge and start indulging in fisticuffs. Also, an early
example of road rage when one driver felt aggrieved by another on a
by-pass. He kept buzzing the offender, weaving to and fro in front for a
while, then fucking off to the next junction. Then he would come off the
bypass and rejoin it again behind the unfortunate subject of his ire so
that he could repeat the chastisement.

Sounds familiar. I was filtering on the autostrada from Verona to Milan,
approaching a major intersection where the traffic had bunched up. Some
chap in an Audi TT decided he didn't want me to filter past & closed the
gap. I simply changed to one of the other 6 lanes and merrily filtered
ahead. As the traffic opened out I was buzzed by this Audi at around
100mph. The traffic bunched up again and I filtered past him again, only
to be buzzed again just before he turned off.
